More than a commitment
In 2013, when the Directors of Otis McAllister, on a visit to Central America, accepted to meet with Xavier Adsara (Director of the NPH Spain Foundation) to become acquainted with the housing in Guatemala and Nicaragua, the connection was immediate – NPH and Otis McAllister have similar beliefs. It was then that Otis McAllister, through its La Sirena Brand, the leading brand of sardines and tuna, commenced this alliance. Since then, La Sirena has become part of the diet in the NPH homes in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
With the support of their business partners, NPH homes receive LA SIRENA sardine donations in the form of tomato sauce, similar to the famous Pica-Pica®. This donation ensures the best source of nutrition and flavor in their diet. Having similar beliefs, LA SIRENA also seeks to become part of the youth’s development in NPH homes. In coordination with NPH, the LA SIRENA team offers recreational training sessions that seek to provide knowledge on different topics of interest.
Supporting an organization like NPH means investing in the future of thousands of youths who were deprived of having a stable family or social structures, and who now will achieve personal and professional fulfillment thanks to the work of a team committed to this formidable social work.

As of today, Otis McAllister has provided donations to five of the nine homes that NPH has in Central America, the Caribbean, and South America (Bolivia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru), feeding a total of more than 3,000 people in 2020, including children living in households, community members and employees of the organization.

For a future together
NPH’s mission is to provide the youth, without a stable and conventional family structure, the best of a family: love, security, food, medical care, education, and a future, being the objective of Otis McAllister, to extend LA SIRENA brand in all the countries where NPH operates in order to benefit from the logistical synergies and provide to every home that the organization has in the nine countries.
